Macron Playfully Pushed by Wife upon Arrival in Vietnam, Duo's Interaction Sparks Discussion

French President Emmanuel Macron found himself playfully shoved in the face by his wife Brigitte upon their arrival in Vietnam on May 25. Afterwards, Macron downplayed the incident, stating they were just joking around, attempting to quell rumors about any marital discord.
A widely circulated video shows Brigitte giving her husband a light push just before the presidential plane landed, causing him to take a step back. He quickly regained his composure and waved to the cameras on the tarmac. Following the incident, Brigitte was temporarily out of sight in the cabin, and they did not hold hands while exiting the aircraft.
Macron explained to reporters in Hanoi, "I was just bantering with my wife, it was nothing serious." He also cautioned against believing distorted videos from "social media crazies" regarding the episode.
Additionally, he responded to a controversial video from his visit to Ukraine that showed him handling a crumpled white object, clarifying it was merely a tissue and not the cocaine some online suggested. Macron's office condemned the spread of false news intended to damage France's reputation.
A presidential official noted that the video illustrates a tender moment shared between the couple before their official engagements.
