This news has raised further concerns among Western countries, particularly regarding potential market disruptions due to overproduction and excessive subsidies.

Additionally, during the ASEAN summit held in Kuala Lumpur, leaders from China and Gulf countries deepened cooperation with Southeast Asian nations. In 2023, ASEAN's trade with China reached nearly $900 billion.

Dr. Li Guancheng from the National Defense Security Research Institute found that if China were to invade Taiwan, 70% of Taiwanese citizens would be willing to fight to defend their homeland, with over half supporting an increase in the defense budget.
