According to Reuters, a magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck Colombia's capital, Bogotá, on the morning of June 8 at 8:08 a.m. local time (9:08 p.m. Taiwan time). The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) recorded a depth of just 11 kilometers (6.21 miles) for the quake. Up to now, there have been no reports of damage, although many residents felt the shaking.
