JJ Lin's Concert at Taipei Arena Sparks Controversy, Emphasizes International Appeal with 40,000 Fans

JJ Lin held his first concert at the Taipei Arena as part of his "JJ20 FINAL LAP World Tour". During his performance of the song "Those Adventurous Dreams", he mentioned several Chinese place names held up by fans in the audience, which led to criticism on social media about why he mentioned Chinese cities at a concert in Taipei.
In tonight's show, however, he enhanced his international image by citing cities like Paris, Los Angeles, Malaysia, and Tokyo, and shouted out "Taipei", thrilling the crowd of 40,000 fans.
After reflecting overnight, JJ said, "This is our second night in Taipei. We're back at the Arena! Returning here means a lot to me, and I want to catch up with all of you." He also asked the audience, "Are you all having fun?" which ignited excitement in the crowd. He later mentioned, "FINAL LAP symbolizes my accomplishments over 22 years, and I hope to share my growth with you through music." He emotionally expressed, "Music is a haven for me, and tonight the Arena has become our sanctuary."
