In an effort to catch up with the AI advancements of the USA and China, Europe has launched a €20 billion AI investment plan. Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, recently appeared alongside UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and today flew to Paris for another keynote. He emphasized the importance of building AI factories and showcased collaborations with Taiwanese manufacturers for AI server products.

Huang greeted the audience in French with a 'Bonjour!' and delivered his first keynote in France under the GTC banner. The stage featured prominent Taiwanese firms such as Advantech, ASUS, Compal, and Foxconn, which supply enterprise-grade AI servers like the RTX Pro server. Huang noted that Europe has awakened to the significance of AI factories, with numerous events taking place here. He expressed excitement for discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron on significant announcements to be made.

He presented a map of Europe highlighting supercomputer projects planned in collaboration with various nations, reiterating that AI is becoming a crucial infrastructure, capable of influencing multiple industries. This underscores his extensive travels across the Middle East and Europe since May, engaging with national leaders eager to establish AI factories and drive AI as a foundation of continuous growth in manufacturing.

Two days prior, during London Tech Week, Huang shared the stage with Sunak, who announced an additional £1 billion investment to increase the UK's computing power by 20 times. Huang stated, 'When something (AI) is developing at a pace of doubling every 10 years, there’s only one way to survive; you have to get on the spaceship. Once you do, you will realize you’re moving forward just as fast.' His next destination is Germany, where he plans to meet Chancellor Olaf Scholz, amid Europe's ambitious AI initiatives, with the EU backing a €20 billion plan to create AI super factories and opportunities for NVIDIA's supply chain to thrive.
