Trump Delays EU Tariffs! Dow Rises 400 Points, Tesla Stock Soars

U.S. stocks opened higher on the 27th, with major indices experiencing significant gains. According to reports, President Trump announced over the weekend that he is delaying the implementation of a 50% tariff on EU imports, which has stimulated gains in stock futures. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 368.85 points to 41,971.92, while the S&P 500 gained 63.73 points, reaching 5,866.55. The Nasdaq Composite increased by 275.64 points to 19,012.84, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose by 79.39 points to 4,781.76.
Initially, Trump proposed the tariff to take effect from June 1, but he later decided to extend the deadline to July 9 at the EU's request. In addition, Tesla's sales in Europe have suffered significantly, leading employees to issue an open letter demanding CEO Elon Musk's resignation. Following Musk's comment on focusing on company operations rather than politics, Tesla's stock jumped over 4%.
