The Eden Social Welfare Foundation celebrated its 30th anniversary with actress Sun Ke-Fang (Xiao Dou) appointed as the ambassador for "Eden30". She attended the press conference where she explored Taiwan's indigenous areas and traveled to one of the poorest regions in central Vietnam to understand the foundation's "Growing Up Together" program. Sun Ke-Fang also joined the ranks of adoptive parents by adopting a Vietnamese girl named Xiao Zhuang.

Xiao Zhuang is currently in fifth grade and supports her family of four with her mother's income of only $2 a day, yet she maintains a cheerful demeanor and optimistic spirit. Sun Ke-Fang expressed hope that through adoption, she could help Xiao Zhuang receive an education and break free from poverty.

During the activities, Sun Ke-Fang provided maternal care and early childhood education while participating in tasks such as preparing nutritious lunches in Vietnamese schools. She shared that witnessing the children finish their food deeply moved her, leading her to humorously refer to herself as an "emotional mom".
