Privacy Concerns During Colonoscopy: Patients Exposed at Hospital

During a colonoscopy procedure, an open door led to a patient being exposed to the waiting area, raising significant public concern. Tao Chun, a senior host at Shanghai Television, shared his personal health check experience, revealing his surprise at the lack of privacy at the hospital.
Tao explained that he was required to wear a special protective garment for the procedure. While waiting for his turn, he noticed that the gastroenterology rooms were directly opposite, and to his astonishment, the doors were wide open, allowing anyone to see what was happening inside.
He stressed that this incident highlights deficiencies in hospital management and service and called for greater awareness of patient privacy among medical staff. Tao's experience has sparked discussions online, with some users agreeing that patient care should take precedence, while others advocate for improving privacy standards.
