Taichung Farmer Achieves Gold Award at Japan Rice Competition After Ten Years of Hard Work

Lin Fan-Min, a farmer from Taichung's Wuri district, returned to agriculture ten years ago and has recently won a Gold Award at Japan's Rice Taste Judging Competition, earning him the title of triple champion in rice. Originally in the advertising industry, he shifted to farming to take care of his elderly parents and focused on improving rice quality through dedication.
Throughout his cultivation process, Lin emphasizes environmental factors and the needs of the crops. Over the past decade, his continuous efforts have resulted in impressive accomplishments in several domestic and international competitions, showcasing Taiwan's agricultural strength.
