A miracle survivor has emerged from this crash incident.
On the 12th, an Air India Boeing 787-8 was en route from India to London, UK, when it crashed about five minutes after takeoff. Initially, there were reports that all 242 people on board may have perished; however, recent updates from foreign media indicate that a British man miraculously survived. He recalled in fear the moment of the crash, describing the scene around him as filled with bodies.
According to reports from CNN's News18 and the Hindustan Times, police confirmed the presence of one survivor at the crash site. The survivor, 40-year-old Vishwas Kumar Ramesh, is currently receiving treatment in the hospital for injuries to his chest, eyes, and legs.
Ramesh's seat number was 11A. This trip was originally planned for him to visit relatives in India along with his brother, but their seats were not arranged together. It is currently unclear if his brother also survived.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Ramesh recalled, “About 30 seconds after taking off, I heard a loud bang, and then the plane crashed. Everything happened so fast.” He described the terrifying scene that followed, stating that when he woke up, he found himself surrounded by bodies and was too frightened to look again.
