This exhibition marks the reopening of the National Palace Museum's library and literature building after renovations, with Ma serving as the Asian Art Department Director at the Met. Lai introduced Ma during his speech, referring to her as 'our daughter of Taiwan', emphasizing the need to revitalize the museum.
