Iran Launches Over 100 Drones Against Israel; Israel Activates Defense Systems

Iran has launched retaliatory actions against Israel, sending out over 100 drones according to official reports from Israel. IDF spokesperson Effie Defrin stated that all of Israel's aerial defense systems are operational to intercept the drone threats from Iran.
Defrin emphasized, “This is a situation we have never faced before, and we expect challenging hours ahead.” Following Israel's airstrike on Iran early Friday morning, Jordan has temporarily closed its airspace to prevent escalating conflict. Currently, both Israel and Iran have closed their airspaces.
According to flight tracking site Flightradar24, there were almost no aircraft activities over both countries early on Friday. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicated that the military operation, targeting Iranian commanders and missile facilities, is expected to continue for several days.
