Trump Group Ventures into Telecom Market with 'Trump T1' Phone and '47 Plan'

The Trump Group, owned by President Donald Trump, has announced its entry into the telecom market through 'Trump Mobile,' led by Trump's son Donald Trump Jr. The company has unveiled the 'Trump T1' smartphone and a corresponding service plan called '47 Plan' that offers unlimited calling, texting, and internet access.

Currently, 'Trump Mobile' offers only the '47 Plan' for $47.45 per month, providing unlimited calling and texting, as well as unlimited data (with speed throttling after the first 20GB of data each month). This plan is customized based on Liberty Mobile's base offering of starting at $20 per month. Users can also utilize the SIM card provided by 'Trump Mobile' in other brand phones.

Additionally, the '47 Plan' includes telehealth services provided by Doctegrity, allowing users to access medical and behavioral health services, along with roadside assistance from Drive America and mobile device protection from Omega Mobile Care.

The 'Trump T1' smartphone is marketed as being produced domestically in the USA, featuring a gold exterior, a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 12GB of memory, and 256GB of storage, as well as expandable storage via microSD. The camera includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens and two 2-megapixel depth and macro lenses, alongside a 5000mAh battery and a 3.5mm headphone jack; it runs on Android 15. The retail price is set at $499, and pre-orders are available in the US market, with a launch expected in August or September this year. The move into the telecom space could generate significant revenue for the Trump Group.
