Trump Announces 30% Tariff on EU and Mexico Imports
U.S. President Trump announced today (12th) on his social media platform Truth Social that he will impose a 30% tariff on goods imported from the EU and Mexico. In his letter, Trump stated that if Mexico effectively combats drug cartels and prevents the influx of fentanyl, or if the EU opens its market and removes trade barriers, the U.S. will consider adjusting its tariff policies accordingly.
