Shocking Murder Case: Escort Killed After Blackmailing Client for $34,000 in Tuscany

A shocking murder case has emerged in Tuscany, Italy, a famous tourist destination. An escort was killed after attempting to blackmail her client for $34,000 following a hotel rendezvous. The incident has drawn significant attention due to the gruesome nature of the crime, in which the victim's body was dismembered and her head burned. The suspect has been arrested.
According to reports from NEW YORK POST, 30-year-old Romanian escort Maria Denisa Paun went missing on the 15th of last month. She was found on Wednesday (4th) near an abandoned farmhouse, with her body stuffed into a suitcase, her head severed and showing signs of having been burned with gasoline.
The police arrested 32-year-old Vasile Frumuzache, the suspect, who is also Romanian, married, and has two children. He currently works for a security company. Prosecutors stated that Vasile admitted to killing Denisa and dismembering her body before placing it in a suitcase.
Vasile claimed he met Denisa through a dating app, and on the day of the incident, they agreed to meet at a hotel for sexual activity. Afterward, Denisa demanded $11,450 (approximately 34.2 million TWD) and threatened to tell Vasile's wife about their affair if he did not comply. In a fit of rage, Vasile strangled Denisa and severed her head.
Surveillance footage captured him dragging Denisa's suitcase out at around 1 a.m. the next day. The police reconstructed his route for disposing of the body using GPS, and they found charred body parts and tools used in the crime around the farmhouse. Prosecutors have filed charges against Vasile, and the investigation is ongoing.
