US Chamber of Commerce Warns: Tariffs on Taiwan are Unfair

As the 90-day delay for the Trump administration's reciprocal tariffs approaches its expiration on July 9, the Taiwan US Chamber of Commerce stated today (June 10) that the tariffs are unfair to Taiwan. The Chamber noted that reciprocal tariffs not only increase costs for American businesses and consumers but also risk affecting economic relations between both sides. They urged the US to reconsider and adjust its tariff policy while expressing hope for continued dialogue and communication between Taiwan and the US.
