Taiwanese Tourists in Vietnam Involved in Accident, Travel Agency Admits Driver Error

A family of four from Taichung, Taiwan, encountered a near-fatal accident during their trip in Vietnam due to improper operation by the tour bus driver. The tourists spent nearly 70,000 TWD on a five-day tour, but during the journey, the driver insisted on pushing forward despite facing traffic congestion. This led to the bus skidding dangerously down a slope, almost falling into a valley. Fortunately, a roadside support pillar prevented the vehicle from tumbling down. The travel agency has admitted that the driver’s actions caused the incident and is currently negotiating compensation with the travelers. Initially, they offered a surprise gift of 1,000 TWD, which later increased to 10,000 TWD, but the two parties have yet to reach an agreement.
