After the match, Yang and Liu expressed their amazement, saying, 'We never thought we would win against the world champions!' Despite the shock loss, both teams advanced to the semifinals of the men's 50+ category, scheduled to continue the competition tomorrow (23rd).

In this match, the Indonesian duo initially lost the first game 18-21, then fought back to win the second game 21-19. However, in the third game, Yang Zhi-yu's aggressive attacks kept the Indonesian champions on the defensive, ultimately leading to a 15-21 defeat. Although carrying an old injury, Arbi stated, 'The old injury doesn't affect my game,' and praised Yang Zhi-yu and Liu Ying-xiong, saying, 'They played excellently, congratulations to them.'
