Israeli Premier Accuses Iran of Two Assassination Attempts on Trump Amid Escalating Conflict

The military conflict between Israel and Iran has intensified, resulting in 13 Israeli deaths and 380 injuries since the outbreak. The death toll in Iran has also risen to 224, including the head of the Revolutionary Guard's intelligence.

President Donald Trump has expressed a desire to intervene and mediate for a ceasefire, but Iranian officials have stated that as long as Israel continues its offensive, negotiations will be impossible. Iran claims it has no intention to develop nuclear weapons, yet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accuses Iran of planning to produce nuclear bombs.

Netanyahu has additionally revealed that Iran attempted to assassinate Trump on two occasions, warning that Iran would pay a heavy price for deliberately killing civilians, women, and children. In return, Israel has targeted Iranian facilities, claiming to have destroyed nuclear facilities.

American officials indicated that Trump vetoed a plan to assassinate Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei, aiming to promote peace between the two nations. However, French President Macron has rejected Russian President Putin's involvement in mediation.
