Tadao Ando Designs World-Class Children's Library 'Forest of Books' in Taichung

The 'Forest of Books,' designed by Pritzker Prize winner Tadao Ando, is the first library in Taiwan dedicated to children, located in the Qiu Hong Gu Eco Park of Taichung. It features exposed concrete architecture and a circular book wall that creates a warm reading space for children.
The groundbreaking ceremony occurred on the 23rd, hosted by Mayor Lu Shiuyan, with completion expected by the end of next year. Tadao Ando participated via video link on this special day.
'Forest of Books' will be the 50th library in Taichung, enhancing the city's cultural vitality and international perspective.
