MSI Partners with Japanese Lacquerware Brand OKADAYA to Unveil New Laptop Featuring 'Panther Lake' Business Series
At Computex 2025, MSI showcased its latest laptop designs, including a collaboration with renowned Japanese lacquerware brand OKADAYA. This partnership employs Yamanaka lacquerware, which boasts over 400 years of history, to incorporate Ukiyo-e styles into the Prestige 13 AI+ laptop, presenting a unique visual appeal.
The collaboration merges traditional craftsmanship with innovative design, drawing inspiration from Katsushika Hokusai's classic work, 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa,' to create distinct design styles. Additionally, MSI's new business laptop series will feature the upcoming Intel 'Panther Lake' processor, with a sleek design measuring just 13.9mm at its thinnest point, and will include high-end OLED displays that support touch and handwriting functions, with 2 in 1 usability.
