Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz's Super Yacht 'Pi' Navigates Narrow Dutch Canal

The super yacht 'Pi', owned by former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, made a dramatic passage through a narrow canal in Woubrugge, Netherlands, nearly brushing against the buildings lining the shore. The breathtaking images captured the tension of the moment.
Valued at approximately £150 million (around NT$6 billion), the luxurious 'Pi' has not only impressive interior features but was also awarded ‘Yacht of the Year’. As it navigated the canal, two accompanying vessels provided protection as the local bridge was specifically opened for about 40 minutes to allow its passage.
Measuring 254 feet (approximately 77.4 meters) in length and 37 feet (approximately 11.3 meters) in width, 'Pi' was built by the renowned Dutch shipyard Feadship. Its interior boasts a glass-bottom swimming pool, a spa area, a helipad, and multifunctional entertainment spaces, accommodating 12 guests and 18 crew members, with a top speed of 18 knots.
Howard Schultz, who purchased Starbucks in the 1980s, turned it into a global coffee empire. At 71 years old, his current net worth is estimated at £3.68 billion (approximately NT$148 billion), ranking him 209th among the world's billionaires. Now, with 'Pi', Schultz reclaims global attention, showcasing the pinnacle of luxury among the elite.
