Guan Director Concludes China Visit, Claims to Expose DPP Lies, Fears He May Not Return

The internet celebrity, Guan Director Chen Zhihan, has completed his six-day visit to Shanghai, China, and returned to Taiwan. He stated that this trip has provided him with a new perspective on various aspects of China. "I used to think the mainland was in a dire situation, but now I realize that it’s entirely a lie from the Democratic Progressive Party," he explained. He emphasized that he funded the trip himself and has never belittled Taiwan, stating, "If the people's lives improve, we will never go to war."
Guan Director underscored that his trip was entirely self-funded, clarifying, "I didn’t take a single cent; every expense was out of my own pocket." He also re-evaluated his perceptions of China's infrastructure, living standards, cleanliness, and public services, admitting that his previous negative views were based on limited information. He pointed out that many controversies surrounding his trip are based on misinterpretations, as activities like waste sorting and streaming live from the high-speed train have been misconstrued.
He expressed that he does not deny the possibility of considering business opportunities in China in the future, a prospect he believes every entrepreneur would wish for. However, he also mentioned concerns about being boycotted upon returning to Taiwan, raising the possibility that he may never return to China due to business impacts. Finally, he advocated for greater interactions between people on both sides of the strait to reduce misunderstandings and hatred, stating, "Isn’t it strange to be speaking the same language, celebrating the same festivals, eating the same food, yet ready to harm each other?"
