This afternoon (13th), a shocking accident occurred in Zhonghe District of New Taipei City, where a bus waiting at a red light suddenly accelerated and crashed into a taxi, a private vehicle, and a motorcycle carrying two passengers. The rear passenger, a 54-year-old woman, was tragically pulled under the bus. Preliminary investigations indicate that the 60-year-old bus driver, who has a history of diabetes, experienced dizziness while driving, leading to the accident.

Witnesses reported that the incident happened at a busy intersection on Yuanshan Road, where vehicles were lined up waiting for the red light. The sudden acceleration of the bus shocked onlookers.
